Come and experience a great kids activity, get up close to the animals, feed & even hold some of the pets. There are plenty of things for children to do on the farm, from hand feeding many of the animals to playing in the playground.
Glendeer is now open everyday until Sunday 27th September for the Summer Season
Glendeer Farm is an award winning 6 acre open farm which is family owned and run by the O'Connells.
There are 3 aspects to this award winning enterprise:
The Pet Farm opened its gates to the public in April 1991 with over 50 species of animals and birds. Since the pet farm opened it has been featured on numerous TV programmes and has won several awards. Glendeer Farm open's every year for the Summer season from Easter week straight through to the end of September
The Self Catering Accommodation also operates from Easter to the end of September. People staying in the rented accommodation have free access to the open farm.
Ireland's Lapland. Glendeer is transformed into Irelands Lapland for the month of December with Santa and his reindeer, a crib with a live cow and donkey, a snow scene and much more. To find out more please see our "Lapland" page.
